On the Trail of Happiness
Hello my dear friends, this poem is about the special bond between humans and nature and the health benefits that arise from it!
Do you sometimes feel burned out and overwhelmed by the hectic pace of our modern world? Are your body and soul not feeling well, or is anger burning within you? Then simply visit our beautiful, healing nature, and you will find yourself back on the trail of happiness! For there is nothing better than the magic of forest bathing to recharge your weakened aura!
For we trees are always kind to you, and we warmly welcome you at any time! We always have an open ear for you; sadness is rarely found among us forest dwellers! We were created to gently heal you; all you need to do is spend some time with us in nature. We gladly unfold our magical powers whenever your stressful everyday life becomes too much! Love can be felt everywhere here, whether beneath the trees or beside the waterfall!
A venerable old tree calls out to you with feeling: “Beneath my leaves you will find peace again! With me you will forget your pain and your worries, and soon there will be a joyful tomorrow for you again! My mighty roots will give you new strength for everyday life, for here in nature mystical forces are at work! Everything here is filled with positive energy; you will never forget a visit to the forest!”
The little birds chirp encouragingly: “That is exactly how it is, dear children of humankind. Here in our community you are never alone! One for all, and all for one—here in the green you will soon have no reason to cry! Whether rich or poor, young or old, every living being is equal here in the forest! You are perfectly unique just as you are; no harm will come to you here.”
The fragrant flowers nod knowingly with their colorful blossoms: “Here you may gather new strength again! We are all connected with you, in good times and in difficult times! Your inner energy will soon be restored; a break with us will always be worthwhile! After every rain shower the sun smiles again, so it does not matter if a thunderstorm came before!”
“The rainbow that follows will be even more beautiful,” whisper the animals of the forest dreamily in the sunlight. “There is always something beautiful to hope for. Here creation has truly surpassed itself! We will soon bring a smile back to your face, and your life will surely become joyful again! For the most precious things in life cannot be bought—sometimes it is enough simply to walk into nature...”
