The Flame of Hope

Bild

Hello my dear ones, this poem I wrote myself is meant to bring you light and warmth, sending a gentle shiver down your spine as it reveals the other, more hopeful side of Halloween.

When autumn leaves caress you in the whisper of the wind,
you can feel your departed loved ones deep within your heart.

When a bird cries out into the darkness of the night,
it may be that someone you have lost is watching over you with loving care.

The stars above, so wise, so bright, so clear,
know how beautiful your life beside your loved ones truly was.
They kindle hope within the darkest night,
until your grieving heart begins to shine once more.

Even the moon above pours its silver light into your heart,
for it understands your sorrow and your pain.
It softly whispers, “Do not despair, for tonight is that sacred night
when all that has passed beyond returns to life in memory and spirit.”

So take a little candle and kindle its gentle flame—
it is such a simple thing to do.

Tonight the candle's flame speaks only to you.
It offers hope, dear soul—believe me.
Its warmth reaches deep into your heart,
and now you may be certain: you are never alone.

Your dearest loved ones remain with you forever;
they are present in every gentle breeze and every falling star.

They do not reveal themselves only on this sacred night,
but in every moment of your life—whenever your thoughts return to them.

Happiness is often simpler than we believe,
and closer than we dare to see.
If we remain steadfast in our faith,
our future will be filled with light.

The glowing pumpkin faces, eerie yet beautiful,
remind us—not only on Halloween—that this path is worth walking.

We need not fear our final hour;
with this certainty held within our hearts,
life finds its harmony once again.

Every human soul is forever connected.
If only we truly understood this,
no one would ever choose to wound another.
Our hearts hold wisdom beyond the reach of reason,
while the candle within our lantern slowly burns low.

Yet the approaching darkness no longer fills us with sorrow,
for the truest light is born within our hearts.

So light shall always triumph over darkness—
of this, dear friends, you may be certain.
The night draws gently to its end,
dawn awakens,
and the candle's flame quietly fades into the morning light.

With gratitude and love we welcome the new day,
holding the quiet certainty that it will bring beautiful things.

Wishing each and every one of you a truly wonderful Halloween!
